SSBB Consortium meeting in Rotterdam

From January 22nd to 24th, the 4th Consortium Meeting of the Stop Spread Bad Bugs project and PhD training took place at Erasmus MC! Our PhD researchers, alongside our partners, had the opportunity to present their latest work and engage in relevant discussions.
A highlight of the event was the “speed date” session, which allowed new collaborations between PhD projects. Nieske Vergunst (Utrecht University) led our science communication activity where we learned about enganging with stakeholders and discussed ideas for an SSBB video. During the PhD training Joeri Beauprez (Inbiose) shared his experience as an entrepreneur, Markus Vögtle (Novartis) provided an insightful presentation on drug development, and Hessel van der Weide (Technology Transfer Office Erasmus MC) talked about ins- and outs of intellectual property. We ended our meeting with a workshop about patent searches and freedom-to-operate led by Aldo Ferrari (Hylomorph).
