Processing data visit website

Erasmus MC collects and analyzes information about the use of the website, such as the number of visitors, the most visited pages and the duration of a visit. The program uses so-called ‘cookies’ (text files placed on your computer) to be able to analyze how visitors use the site. When processing our website statistics, the IP addresses of the visitors are anonymized: the last part of all IP addresses is removed, so that the user can still determine the country, but not the exact location.
