The Industrial Doctoral Network Stop Spread Bad Bugs (SSBB) now offers a 42-months and 36-months full-time PhD student position (Doctoral Candidates) to develop and characterize inhaled formulations of a new generation of antibiotics, so-called non-digestible oligosaccharides (NDOs) and antimicrobial peptides (AMPs). The SSBB project studies novel antimicrobial approaches to combat multidrug resistant bacteria.
- Doctoral Candidate 7 (DC7) will first be hosted at Aquilon Pharma, Belgium and later at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. DC7 will be enrolled in a graduate program at Trinity College Dublin, where he/she will graduate.
- Doctoral Candidate 14 (DC14) will first be hosted at Aquilon Pharma, Belgium and later at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. DC14 will be enrolled in a graduate program at the University of Liege, where he/she will graduate.
