SUMMARY:5th Ghent Gut Inflammation Group Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Every two years\, GGIG hosts a symposium that highlights cutting-edge research on intestinal biology in health and disease. This two-day event is designed to spotlight junior scientists\, offering them a platform to present their latest findings. It aims to foster interaction and collaboration among early-career researchers while building a dynamic network of scientists interested in intestinal mucosal immunology. Though junior researchers take center stage\, the symposium welcomes scientists of all levels. \nThe ‘Ghent Gut Inflammation Group’ (GGIG) is a collaborative network of research labs at Ghent University focused on studying various aspects of intestinal biology in both health and disease. Exploring the intricate interplay between the intestinal microbiota and the host\, and its impact on intestinal and systemic health\, requires a multidisciplinary approach. To tackle these challenges\, GGIG brings together expertise from four different UGent faculties.

SUMMARY:The ATS International Conference 2025
DESCRIPTION:The ATS International Conference is the home of pulmonary\, critical care\, and sleep professionals\, from those in the earliest stages of their careers to those whose research or strides in clinical care has gained them international recognition. Each year\, nearly 14\,000 of these professionals choose to attend\, present\, and learn about the latest advances\, meet with colleagues from around the world\, and strike new collaborations. It is truly where today’s science meets tomorrow’s care. \nThe International Conference is also multidisciplinary. Clinicians and researchers in many other fields attend the conference\, thereby enriching conversations that lead to insights that ultimately improve patient care. \nEqually important\, the ATS International Conference gathers the entire health care team in one place to share ideas across these medical and scientific disciplines. It is the ideal place for registered nurses\, advanced practice nurses\, respiratory therapists\, and hospitalists to discuss their experiences\, challenges\, and research so that all can learn about the latest advances in understanding pulmonary disease\, critical illness\, and sleep disorders. \nAnd of course\, the International Conference is truly international:\n40 percent of attendees arrive from laboratories and patient care centers beyond the United States.
